Having gone on my own journey in and out of the closet as a kid, the feelings of entrapment, loneliness, and and confusion are some of my greatest fears. The Adventures of Fern and Albert tells the story of a young boy trapped inside his closet looking for a way out. Through stop motion animation, while combining humor and enchanting, magical worlds and characters, Fern with his dog, Albert explore what it means to be different, the awkwardness of adolescence and the discord of coming into himself.
